Guilherme Rodrigues, Guilherme Rodrigues is a cellist, improviser, and composer born in Lisbon. He began studying music at the age of seven and was trained both classical and contemporary at the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa and the Conservatório Nacional de Música de Lisboa. His work combines classical playing techniques with extended cello techniques, characterized by polyrhythmic, sonically intense, innovative approaches – both acoustically and electroacoustically.
