AMT Club Berlin

AMT is one of Berlin's newest clubs, hidden beneath the S-Bahn arches at Alexanderplatz and entered through a late-night Späti. Two floors, a custom sound system and a refreshingly fair door make it a welcome shake-up of the city's nightlife.

About AMT Club Berlin

Tucked beneath the S-Bahn arches at Alexanderplatz, AMT is one of the most talked-about new additions to Berlin's club landscape. You reach it the most Berlin way imaginable: through a late-night convenience store on Dircksenstraße, where a staircase leads down into a former casino turned 1,000-capacity club spread over two floors.

What sets AMT apart is its back-to-basics philosophy — a hand-built Kirsch sound system, a darkroom and a chill-out area, fair prices and a friendly door instead of marathon queues. It's a space built for the music and the people on the floor, programming everything from peak-time techno to queer and sex-positive nights.

AMT Introduction

AMT opened its doors in early 2026, the project of Robert Havemann — the man behind the Neukölln bar Velvet. Rather than chasing the size and spectacle of Berlin's mega-clubs, AMT set out to do something quietly radical: a central, well-run club with a serious sound system, fair prices and a door that actually wants to let you in.

Set in a former casino directly under the Alexanderplatz S-Bahn arches, the venue keeps things intimate across two floors while still holding up to 1,000 people. It feels both brand new and reassuringly old-school Berlin.

Two Floors & The Sound

AMT is spread across two floors, giving the night room to breathe and the programming room to move between styles. Alongside the dancefloors you'll find a darkroom and a chill-out area for when you need a moment away from the kick drum.

The centrepiece is the sound: a bespoke Kirsch sound system, custom-designed by sound engineer Willsingh Wilson of Wax Acoustics. It's the kind of rig that rewards standing still and just listening — deep, detailed and built specifically for this room.

The Door & Prices

AMT is built around the idea that going out shouldn't bankrupt you. Entry sits around €15 and tops out at about €25, cocktails are roughly €8, and there are no marathon queues or impossible door odds to deal with.

The door policy is refreshingly visitor-friendly — come with the right attitude and respect the space, and you're far more likely to get in than at many of the city's stricter institutions. It's a return to a more open, accessible Berlin.
