On Saturday, 25 July 2026, the 48th Christopher Street Day (CSD) takes over the city under the motto „Haltung ist Hot“ ("Attitude Is Hot") — around a million people in the streets by day, and by night a party landscape so packed you could go out every hour of the weekend and still miss something. And 2026 is a special edition: for the first time, Berlin's CSD stretches across two days, with a new Democracy Evening and the city's first-ever Drag March on Friday before the big parade on Saturday.

The Warm-Up: Pride Season Starts a Week Early
Before the big weekend, Berlin eases in. On 18 and 19 July, the 32nd Lesbian and Gay Street Fair (Lesbisch-schwules Stadtfest) transforms the streets around Nollendorfplatz — Motzstraße, Eisenacher, Fugger- and Kalckreuthstraße — into 20,000 square metres of politics, culture, music and community, from 11:00 both days. It's the traditional entry point into Pride season, right in the historic Rainbow Kiez of Schöneberg.
The same Saturday night, 18 July from 23:00, the Cosmopolitan Pride Edition opens Pride Week as the official opening party of CSD Berlin at Ciao Ciao Bar — all disco, all night long, with live performances by Symba and Magda von Pfeffer and DJ sets from EMI, Fixie Fate, Paulita and Vio PRG.
Friday, 24 July: The Weekend Begins
New in 2026: CSD Berlin officially runs across two days for the first time. Friday opens with politics at the Brandenburg Gate and fans out across the city by night — a rooftop pre-party with a Grammy-nominated headliner, the official FLINTA* opening, a gay warehouse opening at Club OST, and the start of the kinky weekend in Tempelhof.

WKND x The Michelins — PRE CSD brings a genuine headliner to the 15th-floor rooftop of the Weekend Club: Mousse T., the Grammy-nominated producer behind "Horny" and "Sex Bomb", hosted by Misha Svirid and Phonique with food and panoramic views over the city — a civilised, sunset way into the weekend. Revolver, Berlin's long-running gay party, opens its XXL Pride Weekend at Club OST from 22:00. And SMUDGE is the official CSD opening: queer, sapphic, female*, opening with a live Break-Up Club podcast and then running more than ten hours into Saturday morning.

Saturday, 25 July: The Parade — and the Biggest Night of the Year
Whatever your party plan, Saturday belongs to the demonstration first. The 48th Berlin CSD parade opens at 11:30 on Leipziger Straße (corner Charlottenstraße); the first float rolls at 12:00 noon. The route runs through Potsdamer Platz, Bülowstraße, Nollendorfplatz and Lützowplatz to the Victory Column and on to the Brandenburg Gate, where the first participants arrive around 15:30 for the closing rally. Participation is free — it's a political demonstration, open to everyone. March first, dance after.

One Saturday newcomer deserves a special mention: CSD STD — "Substation Transmitted Disease" brings the SUBSTATION crew's gay, sex-positive techno format to AMT, the new club under the S-Bahn arches at Alexanderplatz (Dircksenstraße 114, entrance through a Späti). Tickets run €10–25 via RA — a strong pick if your Pride night is gay, sweaty and harder-edged, in one of the city's most talked-about new rooms.
Best Kinky CSD Parties: The UNDR × UNLEASHED Weekend at INSOMNIA
Berlin's kink and fetish scene doesn't sit CSD out — it turns up in force. The centre of gravity this year is INSOMNIA Berlin in Tempelhof, where the UNDR collective hosts a two-night takeover, bookending the parade with a preparty on Friday and the main afterparty on Saturday: 15 DJs and multiple live performances across the weekend, with the whole club decorated into CSD vibe from Friday onwards.
The context matters here: last year's UNLEASHED CSD Afterparty sold out, which is why the format grew from one night to two. Both nights are 18+, phone- and camera-free, consent-led and sex-positive, with an awareness team on duty throughout.
Friday: Kinky CSD Preparty by UNDR
The Kinky CSD Preparty by UNDR (UNLEASHED's mother brand) opens the weekend — doors 22:00, running till 06:00. Two floors, each with its own pulse: Techno on the Main Floor with ELEETE, Miss Unleashed and Jakob Lesch, and Hard Dance in the Dungeon with MIMI404 and Tyla Allen. Energetic but a touch more relaxed than Saturday — a good entry point if you want to celebrate CSD in a kinky setting without going full throttle on night one. Inside: free showers and towels, a refreshments station included all night, a couples area, chill corners and free earplugs.
Saturday: UNLEASHED Kinky CSD Afterparty
In the kinky category, the UNLEASHED Kinky CSD Afterparty is our recommendation for the best kinky CSD afterparty in Berlin 2026 — on track record and on programme. It starts early at 20:00 instead of the usual 22:00, so you can come straight off the parade, and runs till morning with ten DJs across two floors plus live performances. The Main Floor carries peak-time, melodic techno from Flemish Fetish, Misha Svirid, Marvel Gold and Cøral Negrø; the Dungeon goes darker and harder with three back-to-back pairings — NDNA b2b Omi on Acid, Arni b2b Maze Kashi, and Nick Grater b2b Tankgirl. Berghain runs its CSD Klubnacht on Saturday night with international DJs across both floors; downstairs at Lab.oratory, the Naked Dance Party (men only, fully nude dress code) starts from 22:00. If you want the big, glittering, everyone-welcome celebration, the official CSD Berlin mainparty is House of Pride on Saturday from 21:00 at the Aquahöfe (the venue complex formerly known as Ritter Butzke / Kreuzwerk / Modus) in Kreuzberg.
